In May we were invited to the SOUTHPORT FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL.
On the Thursday Paul gave an informative but informal talk at the SCARISBRICK HOTEL about the styles of beers he brews and the ingredients used to produce the variety of ales now on offer from SOUTHPORT BREWERY.
On the Saturday afternoon in a marquee outside the ARTS CENTRE, the head brewer from Hydes Brewery of Manchester and Paul gave a talk discussing different styles of beers. We then had a talk about different brewing techniques, for larger and small breweries.
Then there was a beer tasting session, which was very pleasing and popular with everyone.
There was a bar run by ANDREW TATE of AINSDALE SPORTS CLUB selling Golden Sands and Carousel,
plus many other types of drinks. His jug of Pimms was very popular.
George and Shirley, two keen Southport Brewery fans , are seen above enjoying the beer
tasting at this event. CHEERS!!
Thanks for your continued support, it`s great.

a relaxing, informative afternoon.
