SIBA North West Beer Competition at Bolton Macron Stadium was home of a hat trick for Southport Brewery.
Paul collected:
Bronze - Golden Sands in the draught section
Silver - Golden Sands bottled beer.
Gold - was two years on the bounce for Dark Night bottled.
Dark Night goes through to the final in Sheffield in March 2017.
A new beer will be launched shortly. It is Bandstand, 4.5 per cent. A Golden Bitter using a blend of Goldings Hops.
Of course Santa's Brew will be brewed for December plus these regular seasonal beers:
- High tide 4 per cent, out now.
- Clog Hopper for Lancashire day, end of November.
- Old Shrimper is a warming , winter ale, out on a limited basis in barrel, available in bottles too.
